Abby C.
Abby has had her little white dog since she was in 2nd grade. She has loved growing up with a furry best friend and is always sad to say goodbye when she is away at college. Besides little white dogs, Abby has experience watching and interacting with larger dog breeds including giant mastiffs and great danes. Dogs with special needs like elderly diaper wearing or anxious rescues is something she has handled before too. Also the occasional Leopard gecko. She keeps fish (guppies) and has cared for cats as well. Everytime she goes to the pet store she is tempted to adopt a bird but can‘t at the moment so she would love to spend time with your’s. If your pet likes to relax or is on the excitable side Abby always has the patience for both. She truly values any time she gets to spend with an animal and their unique personality.

Amanda M
I am a working professional with nearly two decades of experience in the corporate world. My love for animals, however, was my motivation for becoming a pet sitter. While growing up and caring for my family’s cats and dogs, I was certain that I’d become a veterinarian, but pet sitting is as close as I’ve come. I currently have three cats, Sonny (17), MooMoo (17), and Harry (15) who is diabetic, so I’m very well versed in insulin injections and oral medications. I love that my family and friends have entrusted me to care for their pets. However, being a long-time Whiskers to Tails client myself, I understand that trusting others to care for our pets can be difficult, so I’m hoping to make it as easy for others as it has been for me.

Anika W.
Hello! My name is Anika and I have a true passion and great love for all different pets! It would be very hard to imagine my life without pets. Not only did I grow up with pets in the house but grew up with pets outside as I lived on a hobby farm! I have taken care of so many animals from cats to goats to dogs and even horses. Animals bring me a true uncomparable joy. I am a recent graduate from the University of St. Thomas and when I am not pet sitting I perform in my band Ani Rae, as well as work as a Promoter Representative at a new up and coming venue in Minneapolis. I cannot wait to meet you all as well as your beloved pets and hope to become an influential part of their lives!

Anita G.
Hello, my name is Anita! Growing up, we always had a dog and a cat in the house which is where my love for animals stems from. I currently live in Apple Valley with our family German Shepard, Alma, and our two cats, Liza and Loki. They are the most entertaining, adorable, and chaotic animals a pet parent could ask for. They have such big personalities and I love being around them. In the past, I have done some pet sitting for family and friends when they were away, but I am excited to do more and meet new animals. I hope to create a safe and trusted environment for pet parents while they are away from their furry friends.
Service Areas: Apple Valley, Eagan, Rosemount, Lakeville, Burnsville. Willing to travel further depending on distance.
Anne S.
I’ve dedicated my life to caring for animals as a pet owner, foster parent, volunteer, and a professional caretaker. I have extensive experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages, including those needing a little extra love and care in their final stages of life. I am comfortable giving medications, shots, and subcutaneous fluids to those who need it.
I have served as a Companion Animal Manager at a sanctuary focused on rescuing animals from testing labs, where I deepened my expertise in animal care. My commitment to animal welfare has also led me to volunteer with notable organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States, ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Society, and several farm animal sanctuaries in Minnesota and across the country.
Understanding the concerns of pet parents firsthand, I provide the reassurance you need while you’re away. I offer personalized updates, photos, and detailed reports on your pet’s well-being to ensure you know they are happy, healthy, and loved. My aim is to extend the same level of care and attention to your pets that I would want for my own, creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for them.
I look forward to the opportunity to be your trusted pet sitter and to treating your pets as part of my extended family

Having begun my pet sitting career in August of 2015, Whiskers to Tails is the most qualified and caring group of pet sitters I found thus far. My animal-loving journey started when I was very young. I was raised with a Doberman Pinscher, a Boxer, and a parakeet and often spent time with neighborhood pets on my way home from school! As an adult, I’ve raised, trained, and enjoyed the companionship of six Miniature Schnauzers, a Toy Poodle, a Goldendoodle and a Bernedoodle (the Doodles are my grand-puppies). In addition, I’ve owned and cared for fish, gerbils, guinea pigs, and hamsters. In case you couldn’t tell, taking care of animals is my favorite hobby! Prior to my employment at WTTPS, I worked at a local pet hospital where I gained incredible knowledge of animal behaviors, health, and nutrition. My tenure with WTTPS includes providing care for many cats, dogs, fish, and even turtles. It will be a joy for me to care for your pets whether they are canine or feline, whether they have feathers or fur, whether they require lots of love or are more independent. I want your pets to be safe and secure while you are away, and moreover, I want you—the pet parent— to be confident that your fur babies are happy, cared for, and loved.

Annemarie O.
Hi! I am Annemarie. I have grown up with dogs and have a huge heart for all animals. My family has a 5 year old chocolate lab who is such a big part of our family. She has the most energy and the biggest personality. I have cared for dogs and cats before by pet sitting my own family and friends‘ animals. I enjoy being around animals because of the constant joy they bring; they are truly so special! Outside of pet sitting, I am going to be a senior at the University of Minnesota Duluth and pursuing a Public Health major and a Health Coaching minor. I am excited for what is to come and the opportunities I will be able to get in the future. At school, I have been a part of the Women’s Lacrosse team and the public health student group. I can’t wait to meet clients and be a helping hand to their parents!

Barb S.
Hi fellow animal lovers. I am recently retired from the Mpls Water Works after 38 years. I live with my wild man Belgian Malinois (Swagger) in Columbia Heights. I bring a lifetime of experience raising happy, healthy and beloved dogs. When pet owners have to leave their family pets, I know they are happiest and more comfortable being at home. Having a stable and reliable sitter helps your pets feel safe and familiar until you come home. All of my dogs have enjoyed at home pet-sitting whenever I had to travel. I am happy to bring that safe, cozy feeling to your pets.

Beth W.
Hello, my name is Beth! I am currently studying to be a doctor (for humans), but I have always loved animals. I grew up in rural Wisconsin, and one of my first memories is begging my parents to take me to the Humane Society to pick out a cat. My family has always had at least one cat and one dog, and I grew up taking care of them, plus an assortment of rabbits, chickens, and the occasional guinea pig or hamster. I also was in 4-H, which further deepened my skills and confidence working with animals. I am just as passionate about caring for animals as I am about medicine. I promise to treat your furry loved ones as my own - I can’t wait to meet you and your pet(s)!

Carly S.
Animals truly bring me joy. I have over 6 years of animal care experience including working in kennel care and animal shelters. I’ve also volunteered to help groom and socialize abandoned/rescued dogs and cats. I’m a professional visual artist, and I’ve been living in Minneapolis since 2016. I am a proud dog-mom of two weirdo rescue dogs. One is a little old lady, who has been my little loving shadow for over a decade–and the other is a big goofball mutt who loves the sun and hates the rain. It warms my heart to be able to care for animals, in the absence of their cherished families

Dee says, "On pet visits I enjoy bringing new activities to your pets if I can, like hiding treats around the house to alleviate boredom while owners are gone. Georgia K.
Hi I‘m Georgia. I’m a mom to two young adults, a 12 yo cat (Zero), 2 yo cat (Shoji), 1 yo cat (Sunburst), and a 7 month old Boston Terrier puppy (Urza). That’s basically 3 toddlers and a grumpy old man.
I’m very good with the grumpy cats. Before the three toddlers, I had a very grumpy cat named Oskar. So named because he was found as a kitten in a dumpster with his paws taped together. I had to warn everyone, he bites. But I loved him anyway. Even at the end when he had a metal Mohawk and needed insulin. He was my baby.
I promise to love and respect your fur babies like they were my own.

Jay K.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Jay has been a pet lover from the very beginning, learning all the names and routines of the dogs being walked in their neighborhood as a toddler. They spent years trying to convince their parents to get a cat and finally adopted Phoebe, a beautiful tortie with a love of muffins and bird watching. Though Phoebe’s days are in the past, Jay’s current living situation boasts a plethora of about a dozen fish, each with their own wonderful personality and quirks. When not on the job, Jay can be found reading, napping, baking, and texting cat videos to everyone on their phone contact list. Their pet care experience includes dogs, fish, rabbits, mice, bearded dragons, and every type of cat under the sun. Jennifer E.
Hi, my name is Jennifer.
I have had a passion for animals since I was very young. I grew up with sweet Siamese cats and a spunky cockapoo. Having my own family didn‘t change my love of animals, which is why I share my home with 2 cuddly cats and a couple of not so cuddly fish. Not only do I have personal experience as a pet owner, I also have professional experience as a certified veterinary technician and pet sitter. You can feel at ease knowing that your precious pets are safe with me while you’re away.

Jennifer H
Jennifer has always had a passion for animals. She grew up in Philadelphia with dogs and cats and had three cats most of her adult life. She has also owned white rats and was an “auntie” to a snake, an iguana and two bearded dragons. She always wanted to work with animals, but after she earned her associate degree in veterinary technology, her career path took a detour into marketing research. She was thrilled to have found her way back to her first love, animals, in 2013 and has been pet sitting for Whiskers to Tails Petsitting ever since. Her education in veterinary technology paired with her experience with her own pets with chronic medical conditions has taught her to skillfully administer all different types of medications, including transdermal creams and gels, oral and sublinqual pills and liquids, and subcutaneous insulin and fluids. She is happy to get to care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, fish and even a few reptiles in her pet sitting work with Whiskers to Tails. She especially loves gaining the trust of her animal clients and developing a relationship with them, and she can’t wait to get to know yours!

My love for animals comes from having three cats and a dog around as a kid.
After moving away for college, I couldn’t handle the empty feeling of my apartment so I got two cats of my own! Their names are Ross and Phoebe and I have had them for almost 2 years.
I have pet sat for a lot of my family and friends and I enjoy making their pets feel loved and safe while their owners are away.
I hope to do the same for you and your pets and I can’t wait to meet you!

Hello! My name is Kallie and like many of the other sitters, I‘ve never been able to imagine my life without an animal in the house. Growing up, I was surrounded by labs and lab mixes, and I currently have an 11 year old chocolate lab named Lindie (pictured below). Whether it was for a neighbor’s cat or a friend‘s dog, I’ve been pet sitting since I was a young kid. I absolutely love all dogs and cats, and have a special place in my heart for big dogs! I‘m always open to trying new things, so I’m totally open to pets outside the realm of dogs and cats. I‘m currently a student at The University of St.Thomas studying music business, and when I’m not working with animals you can find me working at a concert for First Avenue or writing music and performing!

Kate R
Hello! My name is Kate and I have been pet-sitting since 2019, though I‘ve had animals my whole life. I am very comfortable with all types of pets, and have a great deal of experience with those who require special care. My last cat was a diabetic who needed daily insulin, and my current cat is an adorable rescue with high anxiety who definitely requires plenty of space and patience. I’ve also taken care of dogs, birds and fish. I love animals greatly and feel it‘s important to treat every pet just like my own - I understand how difficult it can be to leave your fur baby, and I strive to make them (and you!) feel as comfortable and at ease as possible while you’re apart.
When I’m not pet-sitting, I like to write and create artwork, and plan to pursue a career in illustration. I especially enjoy drawing, painting and creating collages, and love using my pets and animals in general as inspiration for the subject matter of my pieces. I also enjoy reading, being in nature, and spending time with my family.
I‘m so excited to care for your pets - I can’t wait to get to know them!

Kayla K.
Hello there! I‘m Kayla, and I’m delighted to be your dedicated pet sitter, ready to share my immense love for animals. Since I can remember, furry friends have been an integral part of my life, and their joyful presence fills me with happiness every day. I grew up surrounded by two wonderful lab mix dogs, and one of them, Copper (pictured below), has been my loyal companion for an incredible 16 years. Both our dogs are rescues, which has nurtured a deep care and compassion for animals within my family. My strong bond with pets has led me to embark on a pet sitting journey from a very young age. Throughout my upbringing, I took care of our two dogs on a daily basis, ensuring their well-being and happiness. Additionally, I happily provided care for dogs and cats belonging to family friends. Ensuring the happiness and well-being of all animals has always been a top priority in my life. I genuinely adore dogs and cats, but my love for animals doesn‘t stop there. I’m always eager to expand my horizons and embrace the opportunity to care for various other pets beyond the traditional feline and canine companions. Besides spending time with adorable animals, I‘m also a senior at the University of St. Thomas, pursuing a degree in Real Estate. When I’m not taking care of pets or focusing on my studies, you can find me at my part-time job at Patina.

Kierra K
Hi, my name is Kierra and I, like you, have a deep love and adoration for all animals. Ever since I was a child, I wanted to work with animals and had a fondness for them. My dream job in elementary school was to be a marine biologist. Since that dream didn‘t become a reality, I chose to adopt my own animals in adulthood. I have two cats who are my life and honestly my children. I grew up with dogs, cats, and reptiles. My family’s first animals were cats when I was a baby, then we had reptiles, and dogs in my teen years. Caring for animals is something that I will always be passionate about. Animals of all kinds make my heart happy.

Kiki C
Since early childhood Kiki has valued the lives of precious beings on four paws. She has a passion for adopting previously traumatized animals and restoring their trust in humans. Friends and family members took notice and asked her to care for their dogs. Although raised around dogs, Kiki attracted many cat friends as well, which led to even more pet sitting requests. While living in Florida, she regularly looked after dogs, cats, a bird and a hamster. Since moving to Minnesota, she has pursued other opportunities to spend more time with new four-legged and furry friends. She spends a lot of her free time with her nature-loving Beagle/Lab mix named Belle.

As a true animal enthusiast with a passion for all creatures, I understand the immense love and joy that pets bring into our lives. I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a diverse range of animals, including cats, dogs, fish, and even some unexpected visitors like raccoons and coyotes that occasionally wander onto the farmhouse where I grew up.

From the playful kittens to the wise old-timers like my beloved Sumac, who has been my loyal companion throughout the challenging times of the pandemic, I’ve nurtured and cherished feline friends of all ages and personalities.

Mckenzie B.
Hi! I’m Mckenzie (he/him) and I’ve been living with animals since the day I was born!
Growing up we always had at least two cats, a dog, and usually some other small animal as well. From fish, to hamsters, to snakes, to guinea pigs, and even chickens, I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, and I’ve always felt a deep connection to my pets. I remember begging my parents to get my first pet guinea pig Jason (yes, he was named after a power ranger) surgery when he had cancer. It was a tough battle but he made it through and even fathered a couple litters of surprise babies!
Right now we’ve got three cats in the house, and five chickens outside of it. There’s never been a day in my life that didn’t have a pet in it somewhere, and I’m hoping to maintain that track record for as long as I possibly can. I’m always excited to meet a new pet, and I love learning what makes them tick.
When I’m not caring for critters, you can usually find me making my own - I have a small etsy shop where I make little polymer clay planter pot creatures I call Grumplings. Otherwise, I’m writing, making music, or thinking about starting a million other things I don’t actually have time for!
Service Areas include Minneapolis, Richfield, Bloomington, Edina, St. Louis Park, and Golden Valley
Melanie B.
Hello! My name is Melanie and I’m a passionate and dedicated pet sitter. My bond with animals began as a child when I got my first pet kitten, Oliver, at age 8. Since then I’ve been a pet mom to many dogs, cats and fish over the years.
My pet-sitting journey began over two years ago when I started offering my services to friends and family. Since then, I have had the pleasure of caring for cats and dogs ranging in age, breed, ability, and energy level.
As a pet sitter, I understand that each pet has its own unique needs and personality. I’ll be sure to take the time to listen to your instructions and get to know your pet on a personal level, ensuring that I provide the tailored care they deserve. Whether it’s adhering to specific dietary requirements, maintaining a regular exercise routine, or simply showering them with love and attention, my focus is their happiness and well-being.
Thank you for considering me as your pet sitter. I can’t wait to meet your adorable companions and become a trusted part of their lives.

Melissa D
Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Missy learned early on all animals deserve a chance at a loving home. Her first experience with pet care taking was her family’s spoiled Siamese cat, Pixie. A few years later, they adopted Greta, an abused lab/springer mix from the Humane Society. Since then, Missy has been a champion for adopting animals from shelters and rescue agencies. Missy has provided care for several dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and even raptors for her friends and family. Having several animals in her life, she works to spend time with each to read their quirks and personalities. She believes each has a different way of being cared for and works to ensure the needs of your pet are understood when providing pet sitting and walking services.
When not with animals, Missy works as a nonprofit administrator for the University of Minnesota where she occasionally tries to sneak her two dogs - Brody, a lab/hound mix, and Aspen, a feist terrier, into the office. She is also a supporter of the Animal Humane Society, Midwest Animal Rescue and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
Service areas include Arden Hills, Columbia Heights, Fridley, New Brighton, NE Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, Shoreview and Spring Lake Park.

Michelle’s educational and work backgrounds are a mix of hospitality, mortuary science, psychology, home health care, pet care, and volunteering. "I really enjoy being a pet sitter for Whiskers To Tails Petsitting. My passion and prior bad boarding experiences make it easy to provide my clients with the fabulous care I would want for my own pets. I look forward to serving you and your pets."

Mya J.
Hey there! My name is Mya. I am a cat mama to three kitties! I have over a decade of experience with animals, with the past many years being professionally. While I’m new to Whiskers to tails, I’m not new to pet sitting! I am a lover of all animals. While I mostly specialize in cats, having three of my own, I also love caring for dogs and pocket pets! I have seen it all as a pet sitter. I’m highly experienced in medication administration, orally and topical. Just show me what they take and I can administer it! I often get compliments from clients when I walk into their home and get greeted with a nuzzle on the leg and am told “wow, she never does that with anyone”. I specialize in curating new ways to get your shy pets to open up! Whether it takes me a day or a week, we work together to build a bond, even if they never come out of hiding, that’s ok too! When I’m not pet sitting, you will find me at home with my neonatal foster kittens! I primarily work with bottle babies who were abandoned by their mama! Caring for your pets is not only a hobby, but a passion.
I am so excited to meet you and your fur babies! Please don’t hesitate to provide me with special requests that meet you and your pets needs!

Poe W.
Hi, my name is Poe! Fur Auntie to many and Kitty Mama to one. My sweet AliSoo came into my life when she was just a kitty nearly 5 years ago and has been my solace ever since. Before her, my first animal relative was named Hershey, a guinea pig of many shades of chocolatey brown that would come to me when I called and loved to snuggle when I would read. The connection we create with our animal relatives can truly change our lives for the better. During my time as a Pet Sitter I have gotten to care for various reptiles, dogs, cats, insects and more. It brings me joy that I get to offer moments of relief & ease to families by taking care of their animals. Outside my Kitty Mama duties, you can find me outside wildcrafting/foraging, cookin’ up a new recipe, painting or dreaming about croissants from Black Walnut Bakery.
Service areas include South Minneapolis and surrounding area.
Samantha D
Hi there! My name is Samantha (feel free to call me Sam). I started my career as a pet sitter with Whiskers to Tails because I’ve always been a huge animal lover and I figured this is the best opportunity to give my love, care and attention to animals that need it while their human(s) are away! I’ve grown up with dogs, but I’ve also cared for the cats, ferrets, hamsters, and reptiles in my family/neighborhood. I’ve worked with many ages from baby to old – with special care involvement – I’m ready to take on any pet and give them the time and attention they deserve while you’re away! My communication methods are flexible to whatever works best for you – whether that frequent or brief, I’m here to make your life as stress free as possible!

Sarah J
Sarah is a lover of all animals and has a special place in her heart for pets that are labelled “difficult” or “less adoptable.” She grew up with two cats, fish, and a strong-willed but loveable collie/husky/shepherd mix. She began pet-sitting during her six years of graduate school at the University of Minnesota, at which time she cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, and fish. She also spent two years at a volunteer-run shelter in the Washington, DC metro area that focuses on medical and behavioral special needs cats. As a result, she has a lot of experience medicating cats and working with shy cats. She adopted two fluffy kitty boys from that shelter who have various special needs but make her smile every day. Currently, Sarah lives in Maplewood. She loves making new animal friends of all kinds and works to ensure that the pets she cares for are safe and happy- whether that means giving them space or lots of hands-on attention!

Sarah T
Hi, I’m Sarah. I grew up on a dairy farm and have always been drawn to animals (my favorites being cats and horses). I came to Whiskers to Tails as a customer a few years ago because I needed dependable care for my two loveable Maine Coon brothers who meant the world to me. After long and happy lives, both have now passed away and I would love to use my cat mom skills to take care of your feline family members. I would like to give you the peace of mind that I always had when Whiskers to Tails was caring for my boys.
My service area is the northwest metro including Maple Grove, Champlin, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, Anoka and Blaine.

Terri S.
Hello! My name is Terri and I love and adore all animals! I have had pets the majority of my life, I did go to schooling for Veterinary science, but life decided to take me down another path. Now I have the pleasure of taking care of other pet families while they are away. I am a proud pet parent of a 4 year old Cockapoo named Waffles, a 8 year old Lhasapoo/Maltese named Reagan whom we adopted 2 years ago, and a 11 year old Bengal, named Saber. My other experience includes volunteering at the humane society through high school and college while I was there, I was given the opportunity to assist vets with meds and injections as needed, so I did it and absolutely loved it. I also worked for a pet sitting company where I visited and took care of pets for other pet parents in their homes. I treat every pet like they are my own and I love making personal connections your furry family members and look forward to meeting you and your sweet furry family members.
My service area includes: Maple Grove, Plymouth, Brooklyn Park, and surrounding area.
