Amanda M
I am a working professional with nearly two decades of experience in the corporate world. My love for animals, however, was my motivation for becoming a pet sitter. While growing up and caring for my family’s cats and dogs, I was certain that I’d become a veterinarian, but pet sitting is as close as I’ve come. I currently have three cats, Sonny (17), MooMoo (17), and Harry (15) who is diabetic, so I’m very well versed in insulin injections and oral medications. I love that my family and friends have entrusted me to care for their pets. However, being a long-time Whiskers to Tails client myself, I understand that trusting others to care for our pets can be difficult, so I’m hoping to make it as easy for others as it has been for me.

Anna R.
Like many of the pet sitters for Whiskers to Tails my love for animals and pet sitting began at an early age. I began pet sitting at the age of eight and have been enjoying working with the animals and clients of Whiskers to Tails since 2019. I primarily care for cats but also have experience in caring for dogs (from chihuahuas to mastiffs), iguanas, frogs, birds, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I don’t shy away from caring for animals that have special medical and care needs. I love getting to know the personalities of all of the animals that I spend time with and understanding how to make them comfortable with me taking care of them while you are away. When not pet sitting, you will find me spending time with my family (including our Russian Blue cat, Cookie) and playing music with my band.
Service areas: St. Paul, West St. Paul, South St. Paul, North St. Paul, Minneapolis, Eagan, Mendota Heights, Woodbury, and Maplewood

Anne Z
Having begun my pet sitting career in August of 2015, Whiskers to Tails is the most qualified and caring group of pet sitters I found thus far. My animal-loving journey started when I was very young. I was raised with a Doberman Pinscher, a Boxer, and a parakeet and often spent time with neighborhood pets on my way home from school! As an adult, I’ve raised, trained, and enjoyed the companionship of six Miniature Schnauzers, a Toy Poodle, a Goldendoodle and a Bernedoodle (the Doodles are my grand-puppies). In addition, I’ve owned and cared for fish, gerbils, guinea pigs, and hamsters. In case you couldn’t tell, taking care of animals is my favorite hobby! Prior to my employment at WTTPS, I worked at a local pet hospital where I gained incredible knowledge of animal behaviors, health, and nutrition. My tenure with WTTPS includes providing care for many cats, dogs, fish, and even turtles. It will be a joy for me to care for your pets whether they are canine or feline, whether they have feathers or fur, whether they require lots of love or are more independent. I want your pets to be safe and secure while you are away, and moreover, I want you—the pet parent— to be confident that your fur babies are happy, cared for, and loved.

Annemarie O.
Hi! I am Annemarie. I have grown up with dogs and have a huge heart for all animals. My family has a 5 year old chocolate lab who is such a big part of our family. She has the most energy and the biggest personality. I have cared for dogs and cats before by pet sitting my own family and friends‘ animals. I enjoy being around animals because of the constant joy they bring; they are truly so special! Outside of pet sitting, I am going to be a senior at the University of Minnesota Duluth and pursuing a Public Health major and a Health Coaching minor. I am excited for what is to come and the opportunities I will be able to get in the future. At school, I have been a part of the Women’s Lacrosse team and the public health student group. I can’t wait to meet clients and be a helping hand to their parents!
Service areas include Apple Valley, Lakeville, Edina, Eden Prairie, Savage, Prior Lake, Farmington, Eagan, Burnsville, Bloomington, St. Paul, Minneapolis and other eastern and southern suburbs by request.

Annie K
Annie has been a pet lover from the very beginning, learning all the names and routines of the dogs being walked in her neighborhood as a toddler. She spent years trying to convince her parents to get a cat and finally adopted Phoebe, a beautiful tortie with a love of muffins and bird watching. Unfortunately, Annie now lives in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets, but she makes plenty of fur friends to make up for it. At Grinnell College, where she studies anthropology, German, and environmental science, her best friend is a 14-year-old corgi with one floppy ear and fur like a toasted marshmallow. When not at school, Annie can be found reading, napping, baking and texting cat videos to everyone on her phone contact list. She has been a pet sitter for over 5 years and loves every pet she cares for like her own.
Service areas: Edina, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, South Minneapolis, Uptown.

Bree T
Hi, I’m Bree! I’ve been with Whiskers to Tails since 2017 and am so grateful to have made countless fur friends in that time. I’m a devoted cat mom to 13-year-old Baby (also known as Boogie, featured above!) and an aspiring dog mom (someday soon!). My friends, family, and clients know me to be a dedicated “aunt” to the many animals I’m lucky enough to care for. I have experience caring for cats and dogs with special needs and I especially enjoy winning over the hearts of shy or nervous fur babies. Outside of petsitting I’m a doctoral
candidate in Communication Studies (Critical Media Studies) at the University of Minnesota, where I also work as a graduate instructor teaching courses such as Media Literacy and Organizational Communication.

Christina L
Christina grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota where animals often crossed her path, especially lost cats, whom she often snuck into her room before her brothers outed her or tried to rehabilitate and comfort injured wildlife. At a young age, she developed a passion for helping animals feel better physically, but also recognized the value of connections between people and animals in how understanding one another allows us to live peacefully together. Christina has spent years researching best practices on how to bridge the gap of human and animal psychologies to obtain desired behaviors from our pets, and enjoys teaching other pet parents how to effectively communicate with their own animal companions. Prior to joining WTTPS in 2015, Christina dabbled her paws in various animal-related fields such as veterinary technology, grooming, pet supplies sales, solo-pet sitting, and volunteering at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. When asked about why she likes working with us, Christina wrote, “I am proud to be a part of the WTTPS team. I truly enjoy caring for pets, but am especially honored to earn the trust of their parents. I like open and transparent communication and want to give of myself what I’d like from someone caring for my furbabies.” At home, Christina is owned by fish and two special needs senior rescues (a spirited tripawd Beagle/Dachshund and a sensitively sweet Border Collie/Golden Retriever). In her free-time, she can be found practicing photography, exploring nature trails, attending local car shows, and embarking on adventures with her pups!

She‘s been in Minneapolis for eleven years and is the mother to three adopted rescues--a domestic Tuxedo cat named Pickles, a Bombay cat named Oliver and a Maine Coon named Boots. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated in 2005. Her background is in healthcare systems and IT, but the best part of her day is returning home to her furry babies. Pet sitting is not just a job for Courtney--it’s one of her passions.

Dee K
Dee has been a pet sitter with Whiskers to Tails since 2013. She has three cats--Morgan, Winston, and a retired Pet Partners therapy cat, Spaghetti-Bob. She had dogs growing up and has fostered a few for Foster My Pet. She also has had guinea pigs, rats, mice, frogs, fish, anoles and bred newts. Past experiences include working as a Behavior Counselor at the Animal Humane Society and working in research at the University of Minnesota. Her interests include clicker training cats, photography, animal behavior, hiking, camping and gardening. Dee says, "On pet visits I enjoy bringing new activities to your pets if I can, like hiding treats around the house to alleviate boredom while owners are gone. Sometimes I just have to sit with shyer pets and wait and that’s cool too! I love them all and feel I treat client pets better than my own sometimes because they get my undivided attention."
Service areas: St. Paul, Maplewood, Oakdale, Woodbury, West St. Paul.

Grace K
Grace grew up in an animal-loving household and continues to be passionate about caring for pets. She currently has a very special retired racing greyhound, Mo. Although he is a handful, she has learned a lot from training him and working with his "eccentricities"; as a result, she is personally experienced with dogs exhibiting aggression and anxiety issues. Professionally, she has over 4 years of pet care experience. She has worked for Whiskers to Tails for two years.
Service areas: Roseville, St. Paul, Shoreview, Maplewood, Woodbury, Fridley, parts of South Minneapolis and Plymouth.

Hillary L

She attended Normandale Community College and graduated with an Associates degree with an emphasis in Psychology in 2015. She currently resides in Northeast Minneapolis. She has a chihuahua mix named Sammy, and her roommates have a dog and two cats. She has been watching cats and dogs for friends and family for about 5 years and now is a full time pet sitter. Jennifer H
Jennifer has always had a passion for animals. She grew up in Philadelphia with dogs and cats and had three cats most of her adult life. She has also owned white rats and was an “auntie” to a snake, an iguana and two bearded dragons. She always wanted to work with animals, but after she earned her associate degree in veterinary technology, her career path took a detour into marketing research. She was thrilled to have found her way back to her first love, animals, in 2013 and has been pet sitting for Whiskers to Tails Petsitting ever since. Her education in veterinary technology paired with her experience with her own pets with chronic medical conditions has taught her to skillfully administer all different types of medications, including transdermal creams and gels, oral and sublinqual pills and liquids, and subcutaneous insulin and fluids. She is happy to get to care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, fish and even a few reptiles in her pet sitting work with Whiskers to Tails. She especially loves gaining the trust of her animal clients and developing a relationship with them, and she can’t wait to get to know yours!
Service areas include Minneapolis and most Twin Cities suburbs within a 15 mile radius of the I-94/494/694 junction

I currently have 2 aquariums and 4 cats and have owned or cared for animals of all kinds including dogs, birds, reptiles, amphibians, pocket pets and even farm animals. This includes medicating and caring for special needs pets, even medicating a bearded dragon. I have always been the “go to” pet care person for friends and family when they are away. I am comfortable around all animals and believe that they deserve the utmost respect and care. Being a pet owner, I understand how hard it can be to leave a pet. I promise that I will give your animals the best care possible while you are away and will treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Kallie B
Hello! My name is Kallie and like many of the other sitters, I‘ve never been able to imagine my life without an animal in the house. Growing up, I was surrounded by labs and lab mixes, and I currently have an 11 year old chocolate lab named Lindie (pictured below). Whether it was for a neighbor’s cat or a friend‘s dog, I’ve been pet sitting since I was a young kid. I absolutely love all dogs and cats, and have a special place in my heart for big dogs! I‘m always open to trying new things, so I’m totally open to pets outside the realm of dogs and cats. I‘m currently a student at The University of St.Thomas studying music business, and when I’m not working with animals you can find me working at a concert for First Avenue or writing music and performing!
Service areas include St Paul, Minneapolis, Roseville, Mendota Heights, Richfield

Kiki C
Since early childhood Kiki has valued the lives of precious beings on four paws. She has a passion for adopting previously traumatized animals and restoring their trust in humans. Friends and family members took notice and asked her to care for their dogs. Although raised around dogs, Kiki attracted many cat friends as well, which led to even more pet sitting requests. While living in Florida, she regularly looked after dogs, cats, a bird and a hamster. Since moving to Minnesota, she has pursued other opportunities to spend more time with new four-legged and furry friends. She spends a lot of her free time with her nature-loving Beagle/Lab mix named Belle.
Service areas include New Hope, Crystal, Golden Valley, St. Louis Park, Minneapolis.

Kylene K
Hi, I‘m Kylene (also known as Ky) and I’ve been working for Whiskers to Tails Petsitting Since 2019 but have already met so many amazing people and their fur babies! I grew up with dogs and recently became a dog mom to my puppy Quinn which has been one of the best choices I‘ve made in 2020! I am also a cat aunt so have experience caring for cats of all ages! I like to think of myself as a "pet whisperer" because even shy cats seem to come out for me which is great! Outside of pet sitting, I coach volleyball at a club in North St. Paul and also at Hill-Murray high school. When not coaching I try to fill my day as much as possible with pet sits to make sure everyone is getting some love while their parents are working! I’ve loved all the opportunities I‘ve been given and can’t wait to meet more fur friends!
Service areas include Minneapolis and Northeast, Uptown, Hopkins, Minnetonka, St Louis Park, Golden Valley, Plymouth, Maple Grove

Lacey H
Hi! I‘m Lacey. I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I‘ve had fish, cats, a rat, and have had two full-size poodle "brothers". My most recent dog love was Vera, a perfect angel pitbull who I got 14 years with. I’m comfortable with all types of dogs, and know the needs and behaviors of bully breeds very well. I had the honor of caring for Vera in her elder years, so I‘m very familiar with the needs and special care that elder dogs need. I’ve been dogsitting for some pitbull friends lately and also am a cat aunt and cat step-parent. I’m so excited to have more dog friends and give your dogs the special attention they deserve while their human is away.
I live in Powderhorn Park, and when not petsitting, I run The Future, a store in South Minneapolis, and love spending time at the river.

Leah G
Hi, my name is Leah and I love being a sitter at Whiskers to Tails! I have two shepherd mixes of my own, Josie and Stella, and have managed at a dog daycare and boarding facility for 9 years. During this time, I oversaw dog care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments as well as feeding, medicating and responding to emergency situations. I have since changed careers and work at a window restoration company but am so happy to spend time with other animals through Whiskers to Tails.
I grew up with a variety of pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, snakes, bearded dragon, iguana, and birds. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, boyfriend, friends and family. In the winter, snowboarding and ice skating are my favorite outdoor activities and in summer, I like to camp and hike.
I understand how important it is to put trust in someone for your pets while you are away and I hope through effective communication, I can gain that trust!

Melissa D
Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Missy learned early on all animals deserve a chance at a loving home. Her first experience with pet care taking was her family’s spoiled Siamese cat, Pixie. A few years later, they adopted Greta, an abused lab/springer mix from the Humane Society. Since then, Missy has been a champion for adopting animals from shelters and rescue agencies. Missy has provided care for several dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and even raptors for her friends and family. Having several animals in her life, she works to spend time with each to read their quirks and personalities. She believes each has a different way of being cared for and works to ensure the needs of your pet are understood when providing pet sitting and walking services.
When not with animals, Missy works as a nonprofit administrator for the University of Minnesota where she occasionally tries to sneak her two dogs - Brody, a lab/hound mix, and Aspen, a feist terrier, into the office. She is also a supporter of the Animal Humane Society, Midwest Animal Rescue and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.

Sarah J
Sarah is a lover of all animals and has a special place in her heart for pets that are labelled “difficult” or “less adoptable.” She grew up with two cats, fish, and a strong-willed but loveable collie/husky/shepherd mix. She began pet-sitting during her six years of graduate school at the University of Minnesota, at which time she cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, and fish. She also spent two years at a volunteer-run shelter in the Washington, DC metro area that focuses on medical and behavioral special needs cats. As a result, she has a lot of experience medicating cats and working with shy cats. She adopted two fluffy kitty boys from that shelter who have various special needs but make her smile every day. Currently, Sarah lives in Maplewood. She loves making new animal friends of all kinds and works to ensure that the pets she cares for are safe and happy- whether that means giving them space or lots of hands-on attention!

Hi, I’m Sarah. I grew up on a dairy farm and have always been drawn to animals (my favorites being cats and horses). I came to Whiskers to Tails as a customer a few years ago because I needed dependable care for my two loveable Maine Coon brothers who meant the world to me. After long and happy lives, both have now passed away and I would love to use my cat mom skills to take care of your feline family members. I would like to give you the peace of mind that I always had when Whiskers to Tails was caring for my boys.
My service area is the northwest metro including Maple Grove, Champlin, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, Anoka and Blaine.
